EARN RENTAL INCOME LIKE MR. ROLAND OKOYE

Mr Roland came to Lagos 10 years ago, precisely the 1st of November, 2010. After his NYSC, He decided to change his location seeking for a place that was more favourable.

Like other people who have a similar story to tell, He came in with just a handbag without knowing where to put his head but as God would have it coupled with his hard work and resilience, He became successful and married with kids.

After 10 years in Lagos, He woke up one faithful morning to discover something heart-stricken. He said “I reside in an estate that is conducive and comfortable even though it’s a rented apartment. When I moved in here 4 years ago, the environment surrounding the estate was full of bush and my estate was the only one standing. Today the whole place is covered with lots of estates and it’s so amazing how the whole place is becoming busy with lots of cars, commercial centres and schools”.

Being part of the first set of people that started living in the area, it’s shocking that Mr Roland didn’t have a house He could call his own let alone a property named after his children in the neighbourhood. He asked himself, “How on earth did all these houses get here and I am not even aware until now? How were all these homeowners able to build these houses, and where did they get the money from when everybody is saying there is no money in the country?

After waking up from a deep sleep, He decided to ask someone much younger than him how he built a house with his current salary.

After being enlightened, He realized why He has not been able to move with the speed of development in this city. His initial thought about owning a house was that He must have a considerable amount of money in his account.

“Now I know the truth and the truth is that lots of people in this city have been able to purchase a house with very little amount and keep paying until they became house owner. There are lots of people who owe lots of mortgages, somehow they will finish the payment and they will own the house. I refuse to be deceived” Mr Roland shouted.

To make amends for the past years, Mr Roland decided to seek investment opportunities that could generate consistent Cashflow for him and his family. With the down payment, Mr Rolanddid not just get his contract of sale, receipt of payment and other necessary documents but also joined other investors for an all expensed paid trip to Dubai, the coolest place to be in the world. Above all, his greatest joy was having a property to his name, serving as an inheritance and a source of income for his family.
